🇲🇽 Our last port was Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We finished with Ride #25, an enjoyable delicious foodie bike tour with Hombero of Vallarta Food Tours ($60 GetYourGuide). We tasted tacos from four family run locals' favorite spots en route. We’ve never had such fresh and good carnitas, and the others, mixed meats, crispy with beef and broth, and mahi mahi were sublime. We finished with “the best ice cream in town” on the Malecon (beach boardwalk) and then margaritas back near the shop. We especially enjoyed biking along the Malecon promenade and handled the uneven cobblestone streets in the Old Town well on the geared cruiser bikes. We didn’t miss e-bikes on this flat ride. Traffic wasn’t a problem as much of the route was on designated sidewalk bike paths. Only two of us signed up so we had a private tour and quality time with our PV native guide, we love that.
