🇬🇷 Chania is known for its spectacular Venetian harbor, as well as its well preserved old town. In Oct ‘23 we had called here on an HAL cruise, and Rich did a bike tour around the town, while Steve, who was under the weather, came in later. The ship docks at Port of Souda and an inexpensive 20 minute port shuttle is available to get into Chania. This time Rich spent the beautiful sunny port day with shipmates Steve C & Lil, enjoying a great long walk around old town, visiting the fort and lighthouse, followed by a Greek sampler lunch at Amphora Taverna overlooking the harbor.
