🇪🇸 Tenerife was a late substitute for our port stop at Lanzarote due to predicted high winds there, so we had to cancel a scheduled great sounding volcanoes bike ride. We didn’t bother to plan anything beyond the Santa Cruz port, which was a mistake as the port town was a big city of only moderate interest, without even an historic old town, or biking opportunities. But then, we'd become jaded having seen so many stellar port towns. We strolled around for about 4 hours, walking by the wave-shaped Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín performing arts center, the downtown Mercado, and Parque García Sanabria, where we had a healthy lunch across the street at AUYAMA real food.
