🇬🇷 Bad weather diverted us from Patmos, which was a tender port, to Heraklion, Crete. Rich arranged a last minute guided bike tour in the Heraklion countryside with four others but we called it off since it was rainy in that area in the morning. With Steve still fighting a cold Rich wandered into town alone, but ran into many shipmates en route. It was a nice walk with a few interesting sights, including a vibrant central shopping street, but it doesn’t hold a candle to Chania where we’ve been and were also headed to again. The rain held off until Rich returned to the ship.
